About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify complex 3D models and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD software.
- Generate detailed 2D engineering drawings, including BOMs and GD&T, to manufacturing specifications.
- Perform design calculations and analyses to validate product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management, to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
- Participate in design reviews, incorporating feedback and implementing necessary revisions effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Document design changes, engineering specifications, and technical reports comprehensively.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Design Engineer, focusing on mechanical design.
- Expert proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software for 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to apply GD&T standards and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) integrated with NX.
- Familiarity with FEA simulations and analysis tools within NX.
- Exposure to various industry standards and certifications.
- Prior experience in a relevant industry sector (e.g., automotive, heavy machinery, consumer goods).
