Key Responsibilities
- You will conceptualize, design, and develop new products or enhance existing ones based on project requirements.
- You will create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
- You will conduct prototyping, testing, and validation of designs to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to specifications.
- You will select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal product performance and cost-efficiency.
- You will prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and test reports.
- You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure seamless product integration and launch.
- You will troubleshoot design-related issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering field.
- You have proven experience in product design and development roles.
- You are proficient in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Inventor).
- You have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, material science, and various manufacturing techniques.
- You demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
- You hold a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications.
- You have experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools.
- You are familiar with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
