About the Role
Krishiv Job Placement is seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to lead our procurement efforts. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and fostering strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies that align with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to achieve significant cost savings without compromising quality.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing holding costs.
- Monitor market trends, supply base performance, and industry best practices to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process and supply chain operations.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- You have 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- You demonstrate exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- You have proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing.
- You are proficient in using ERP systems and procurement software.
Nice-to-Haves:
- A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) in supply chain or procurement.
- Experience leading and mentoring a small team.
