About the Role

You will join a dynamic team as a QC Engineer, playing a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for die casting products. You will be instrumental in maintaining product excellence, preventing defects, and driving continuous improvement within the manufacturing process. Your expertise in die casting will directly contribute to delivering superior products to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of die casting components and processes at various production stages.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments (CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects or non-conformities in accordance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain comprehensive quality records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems and customer-specific requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must-Haves:
    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field.
    • Proven experience as a QC Engineer, with significant expertise in die casting.
    • Strong understanding of die casting processes, associated defects, and their remedies.
    • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
    • Hands-on experience with a variety of quality inspection tools and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma).
    • Experience with PPAP, FMEA, and SPC.
    • Knowledge of metrology software.
